When my family and I went to Sanibel Island we had the best time, it was affordable and was not too far to travel. It is located off the coast of Florida and we loved it. I spent my days laying on the beautiful beach front. My children loved searching for sea shell treasures and enjoyed swimming in the ocean. The Sanibel hotels are so luxurious and I really enjoyed being pampered at the spa.
We decided to explore the island by bicycle and had a great time riding along the bike paths. We saw so many different animals and found the experience very educational for the kids, as well. The restaurants were wonderful and the seafood was succulent. My husband thoroughly relished spending the day on the golf course, while the kids and I went shopping. We found so many great boutiques and shops, and had fun picking out souvenirs. I think it is a vacation my family will never forget.
